This Movie was a truly amazing, slumdog from Mumbay born and grow in a slum area collect rupee from selling recyclable trash or toilet fee then become a millionaire.

Jamal Malik never dream this to happen he only a honest kid that only cease one love Latika, a childhood friends that act as the third musketeer instead of He and his brother Salim Malik.

The three of them grow on their own path, Salim join a gangster on Mumbai to avoid the Maman's people ceasing Latika grow as one of Salim Boss's girls and Jamal work as Chai wallah on National telephone service.

They separated since Salim chase away Jamal to have Latika for his own. When Jamal asked to do some favor for one of the telephone operator to replace him while he attend the 'Who Want to be a Millionaire'(WWTBAM) show, Jamal get cautious about his brother and Latika's whereabouts. He search both Latika and Salim in the Computer database. He found 15 different telephone for name "Salim Malik" and call them one by one until he reach his brother finally.

He arrange a meeting with his brother at a under constructing building, he totally piss off about what his brother had deed on the past. But he cannot hate him since Salim is the only family he has after his mother killed on a confront between Muslim and Hinduism.

Even Jamal can reach Salim he still wondering about Latika, since Salim never mention her anymore, he only says that she is somewhere beyond Jamal's reach. But Jamal believe that Salim know about her, so he follow Salim and get him to a big house guarded and isolated from outsiders.

When he manage to get inside the house he find Latika wearing a nice cloth and has grow more beautiful then before. He talk to her and ask her to leave with him. But Latika refuse it since its too dangerous for Jamal to take a risk murdered by Salim's Boss.

Jamal think WWTBAM show may tell Latika where he is and make her realize that he can do anything for her.

With Jamal's knowledge WWTBAM question is impossible to be answered, except the first question. It is a simple question that every one in India must know the answer.

But the next question much more difficult for Jamal, but somehow he manage to answer all of them. Until the show time's up before the last question that will give Jamal 10 million rupee. He caught by police when the show end with accusations cheating.

From the police office he explain on how he manage to answer all of the question and by that we are able to know Jamals child life until he grow and get him self on WWTBAM show.

This movie use both flash back and forward plotting so every time he got questioned we will see his past with a flashback to explain the life of every character on this movie.

My point of view
This movie is a good movie to reflect our daily life. We educate to classify people with some basic characteristics, winner and loser, rich and poor, clever and stupid, careful and careless. But life is not just that simple, Jamal win the WWTBAM not because his knowledge but it more like he is destined to be the winner. On this movie every thing we do have consequences that will we pay now or later. Like Salim that life glamorously on Jamal's suffering.
